Arizona Instrument LLC announced a new sensor-based
addition to their revolutionary line of Computrac moisture analyzers.
The Computrac Vapor Pro moisture analyzer’s
improved detection capability accurately measures moisture levels down to 10 ppm
(or 10 micrograms water) on samples ranging from 10 milligrams to 20 grams.
Results are achieved in as little as 3 minutes and may be displayed as percent
moisture, parts per million moisture, or micrograms water.
Designed to correlate with the Karl Fischer
titration method, the durable Computrac Vapor Pro offers a fast, chemical-free
process to accurately check product quality while on the production floor.
The instrument becomes portable with the addition of a compressed air pump,
eliminating the need for a nitrogen source. The user-friendly menu, simple
push button operation, and new syringe-free calibration offers less potential
for user error and is designed for use by the floor technician or the laboratory
chemist. With this new asset, manufacturers can quickly make decisions and
process changes to keep up with the demands of production times and quality.
The Computrac Vapor Pro utilizes a closed system, including a sealed flow-path and sleeved sampling needle that circulates the dry nitrogen between tests. This innovative design gives no opportunity for moist air to enter or trap itself within the system and the moisture specific sensor is not influenced by other volatiles. This patent-pending process produces accurate readings of the sample’s moisture content without the addition of the humidity in the ambient air or volatiles burned off during the test.
Features:
Greater Detection Range, down to 10 ppm or 10 micrograms of water
Automatic Sample Loading
Automatic, menu-driven operation requires minimal user skills
No toxic reagents or specialized glassware
Self-diagnostics alert operator of any instrument problems
Portable
