Compressed- and Forced-Air Static Eliminators Air driven static eliminators extend the range of static control dramatically if you need to eliminate static from an irregular surface, or find it impractical to mount a static eliminator within a few inches of the target material. They are often used to clean objects. Since static attracts dirt, using an air driven static eliminator cleans objects and keeps them clean longer. Fan driven static eliminators such as the VSE series (Volume Static Eliminator) require no external source of air. The VSE 3000 has been specially designed for ESD applications. The l-VSE 5000 is suitable for industrial environments, as are Chapman’s compressed air driven products.
