Provides maximum holding power

Improve quality and increase productivity in web printing and material processing. Moving webs attract dust and debris, causing quality defects and frequent interruptions to clean equipment. The WEB-100 Pneumatic Web Cleaner eliminates the static cling that attracts contaminants, then cleans the web with a unique compressed air cleaning head.

Why the Web-100?

The WEB-100 has been designed for maximum flexibility. It is available in either single- or dual-surface configuration, for webs up to 1219mm (48in) wide. A straight mounting shaft is standard. For webs up to 457mm (18in) wide, a cantilevered mounting system is available. The cleaning head is easily adjusted to accept webs of varying thicknesses.
The WEB-100 is a revolutionary approach to cleaning webs. It combines a powerful pneumatic cleaner, an in-line filter, and high-output static eliminating bars in one compact package. The system removes and collects particles from your web, enhancing quality and productivity.

First, the WEB-100 eliminates static, breaking the bond holding dust and particles to the web. The web then moves to the system's cleaning station. Compressed air is forced at high speed from slots on each WEB-100 cleaning head. The unique air pattern created by the WEB-100 “scrubs” the web to lift off particles and debris. The in-line panel filter captures contaminants as small as one micron.

The WEB-100 is completely self-contained. Compact design allows the system to be installed where it’s needed most for maximum cleaning power. The unique air scrubbing action eliminates the need for large and cumbersome vacuum equipment and ductwork. Unlike vacuum systems, the WEB-100 has very few moving parts.

The WEB-100 requires a regulated supply of clean, dry compressed air. If filters or regulators are not already in place, they can be purchased from Chapman. We recommend that a primary filter be placed as close as possible to the WEB-100. Depending on your air supply and application, a coalescing filter may be required as well.

Use the minimum air flow needed to achieve good cleaning. Experimentation after installation will help you determine optimal flow. The maximum pressure to the WEB-100 is 40 PSIG for lengths of 762mm (30in) or less, and 80 PSIG for longer lengths up to 1219mm (48in).

Compressed Air Accessories:

For best results, a regulated supply of clean, dry air is essential. Chapman can supply or recommend the appropriate components for your installation.

  1. Primary filters, for removing major impurities from your air line.
  2. Coalescing filters, to remove trace amounts of impurities that remain after primary filtration.
  3. Regulators, for the main air supply and the opening cylinders, with gauges.

Replacement Panel Filters
The frequency of filter cleaning and changing values with the volume and type of debris collected. They can be cleaned with a common vacuum cleaner, or blown out from the back with a jet of air. When the filter needs replacing, packages of 6 replacement filters are available from Chapman.
