LT-1000 Loop Tack Tester with Digital Display
The LT-1000 Loop Tack Tester utilizes an electronic load cell and digital data acquisition system to measure the "tack" force of adhesive coated product. Measures in units per square inch so converting is not necessary. Units can be changed to grams, kilograms, pounds, or ounces with the touch of a button. The peak force is displayed on the easy to read LED screen. Results can be stored and recalled or downloaded to IBM compatible PC. Meets specifications set by ASTM, TLMI, and FINAT.
Test data can be downloaded to EZ STATS Analysis software. EZ STATS wil provide automatic calculation of standard deviation, variance and work under the curve.

LT-500 Loop Tack Tester with Force Gauge
Quickly and easily determines the initial "tack" or "grab" of an adhesive. This machine performs loop tack tests according to ASTM, TLMI and FINAT test methods. The standard 10 lb. (4.5 Kg) gauge and the optional capacity gauges feature a peak load hold for quick determination of test results. Unit is easily transportable.

PT-500 Polyken™ Probe Tack Tester
The PT-500 Polyken™ Probe Tack Tester, manufactured by ChemInstruments, Inc., is designed to measure the tack of pressure sensitive adhesives. A precision ground, flat probe contacts the adhesive, reverses direction and pulls away from the adhesive. The maximum force required to break the adhesive bond is recorded on a digital force gauge. The gauge is integrated into the Tack Tester and is powered by a built in charger. This instrument meets the standards set forth in ASTM D2979 and is capable of testing tack of pressure sensitive adhesives on flexible as well as rigid materials. It follows the original design patented by Polyken Corp. and is produced with their permission.
Units are measured in pounds, kilograms or Newtons, and contact pressure loads are available from 10-100gm/cm. Probe tip is 304 stainless steel, with a diameter of 5.00 mm. Machine speed is 24 ipm (61 cpm) and an automatically designed test cycle produces a one second dwell time.

TT-100 Rolling Ball Tack Tester
The ChemInstruments TT-100 Rolling Ball Tack Tester meets the standards set by the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC-6) and the ASTM (ASTM D3121) for testing the tack of a pressure sensitive adhesive. The TT-100 Rolling Ball Tack Tester provides a quick and economical method of testing the tack of an adhesive. This method quantifies the ability of an adhesive to quickly adhere to another surface.
